Estimation of Annual Production Amount of Livestock and Poultry Manure and its Environmental Effect in Heze City,Shandong Province
To further understand the current pollution status of arable land in Heze City caused by livestock and poultry ma-nure,based on the Livestock and Poultry Farming data from the'2023 Heze Statistical Yearbook',we used pollution dis-charge coefficients to estimate indicators such as the production of livestock and poultry manure and the agricultural land load in Heze City in 2022.The results indicate that the total emission of livestock and poultry manure in Heze City in 2022 was approximately 15.5773 million t,ranked by annual manure production as follows:pigs＞poultry＞sheep＞cattle.The average agricultural land load in Heze City in 2022 was 25.21 tons per hectare(t·hm-2),classified as level 111 ac-cording to the warning threshold.Yuncheng County had the highest agricultural land load in the city at 29.09 t·hm-2,fol-lowed by Mudan District at 28.94 t·hm-2.After treatment through various processing and collection techniques,the final production of total nitrogen and total phosphorus from livestock and poultry manure was estimated to be 26600 t and 10800 t,respectively.The average nutrient load of nitrogen and phosphorus from livestock and poultry manure per unit of agricul-tural land area was 34.60 kg·hm-2 and 14.11 kg·hm-2,respectively,both below the EU limits for annual application of nitrogen and phosphorus in fertilizers.In general,the main livestock and poultry manure production in Heze City in 2022 has a certain pollution risk on the effective cultivated land area,which needs to be paid attention to.
