Objective In order to investigate the correlation between serum levels of suppressor of cytokine signaling-1(SOCS-1),SOCS-3 and anti-bullous pemphigoid(BP)-180 antibody and BP disease. Methods A total of 82 patients with BP diagnosed and treated from May 2018 to May 2022 were selected and set as the observation group,41 healthy subjects were selected as the control group.According to the severity of the disease,82 patients with BP were divided into the mild group(the area of active lesions≤10%,n=28),moderate group(active skin lesion area 10%-30%,n=27),severe group(active skin lesion area>30%,n=27).The serum levels of SOCS-1,SOCS-3,anti-BP-180 antibody and autoimmune bullous skin disease severity score(ABSIS)were compared.Pearson method was used to analyze the correlation among SOCS-1,SOCS-3,anti-BP-180 antibody and ABSIS score. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to evaluate the area under the curve(AUC),sensitivity and specificity of SOCS-1,SOCS-3 and anti-BP-180 antibodies in the diagnosis of BP.Results Both males and females in the observation group were affected, and there were no significant differences in gender distribution, with the age range from 40 to 69 years old being the highest incidence. The SOCS-1,SOCS-3,anti-BP-180 antibody and ABSIS scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of SOCS-1,SOCS-3,anti-BP-180 antibody and ABSIS in severe group were higher than those in mild and moderate groups(P<0.05).The scores of SOCS-1,SOCS-3,anti-BP-180 antibody and ABSIS in moderate group were higher than those in mild group(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that SOCS-1,SOCS-3 and anti-BP180 antibody were positively correlated with ABSIS score(r=0.441,0.580,0.723,P<0.001).ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC values of SOCS-1,SOCS-3 and anti-BP180 antibody in the diagnosis of BP were 0.696,0.765 and 0.965,respectively(P<0.05).The sensitivities were 53.70%,41.50%and 95.10%,respectively.The specificity were 87.80%,100.00%and 85.40%,respectively.Conclusion The levels of serum SOCS-1,SOCS-3 and anti-BP-180 antibodies are positively correlated with the severity of BP,their levels will change with the severity of the disease.Clinical monitoring of the levels of SOCS-1,SOCS-3 and anti-BP-180 antibodies can provide references for the diagnosis of BP and the assessment of the severity of the disease.
