Objective In order to explore the application effects of traditional Chinese medicine cold therapy combined with comprehensive nursing intervention in facial dermatitis.Methods A total of 120 patients with facial dermatitis admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to July 2023 were prospectively selected as research objects,and patients were divided into study group and control group with 60 cases in each group according to random number rank method.Both groups received conventional western medicine treatment and routine nursing intervention,and the control group was given yellow light treatment on this basis.And the study group was treated with the new technology of traditional Chinese medicine cold therapy on this basis.And the short-term(one week later)curative effects,symptom scores,non-invasive quantitative evaluation indexes of skin,adverse reactions and treatment satisfaction was compared.Results After treatment,stinging,pruritus,dryness/tightness,burning,edema,papules,skin area,desquamation and erythema scores in both groups were reduced compared with those before treatment.The scores of pruritus(0.47±0.50 vs.1.00±0.26),skin area(1.08±0.28 vs.1.67±0.30)and erythema(0.97±0.18 vs.1.12±0.32)in the study group after treatment were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=7.293,11.106,3.133,P<0.05).The absolute score of the red zone in both groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment,and the study group has lower score than the control group(35.18±4.94 vs.40.35±5.70),the differences were statistically significant(t=5.309,P<0.05).The treatment satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group(9.44±0.53 vs.8.97±0.45),and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.250,P<0.05).Conclusion The new technology of traditional Chinese medicine cold therapy can effectively improve the symptoms of facial dermatitis patients,relieve erythematous inflammatory reaction and pruritus,reduce the area of skin lesions,and have good safety and higher clinical satisfaction.
