Objective In order to analyze the infection of mycoplasma pneumoniae in children with urticaria and relevant influencing factors, and to provide basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods From January 2019 to December 2022,the serological detection(passive agglutination)of mycoplasma pneumoniae was performed in children with urticaria aged from 0 to 12 years in the dermatology clinic of Maanshan Maternal and Child Health Hospital.Meanwhile, the serological detection(passive agglutination)of mycoplasma pneumoniae was performed in children with bronchopneumonia aged from 0 to 12 years in the pediatric inpatient ward.Chi-square test was used to compare the difference in infection rate of mycoplasma pneumoniae among all the groups.Children with urticaria were divided into four groups according to epidemiological data,Chi-square test was used to compare the differences in the infection rate of mycoplasma pneumoniae among all the groups, and Logistic regression analysis was used for multivariate analysis. Results A total of 735 children with urticaria in the dermatology clinic and 2 175 hospitalized children with bronchopneumonia in the pediatric inpatient ward were included in the study.Among 735 children with urticaria,258 cases(35.10%)were infected with mycoplasma pneumoniae, the infection rate was higher than that among 2 175 children with bronchopneumonia,591 cases(27.17%)were infected with mycoplasma pneumoniae(χ2=16.717,P<0.001).There was a statistically significant difference in the test results of children with urticaria of different genders(χ2=13.621,P<0.001),and there was a statistically significant difference in the test results of children with urticaria of different ages(χ2=62.434,P<0.001).Among 365 female urticaria children,152 cases(41.64%)were infected with mycoplasma pneumoniae, the infection rate was higher than that among 370 male urticaria children,106 cases(28.65%)were infected with mycoplasma pneumoniae(OR=1.872,95%CI:1.357-2.583).Compared with 2 of 70 children in the<1 year old group(2.86%),127 of 377 children in the 1 to 4 years old group(33.69%)were infected(OR=17.627,95%CI:4.241-73.263),61 of 174 children in the 4 to 7 years old group(35.06%)were infected(OR=19.565,95%CI:4.619-82.872),68 of 114 children in the 7 to 12 years old group(59.65%)were infected(OR=52.820,95%CI:12.280-227.200)all have higher rate of infection. Conclusion Children with urticaria are generally prone to mycoplasma pneumoniae infection, with females being more susceptible than males.Infection is rare in children under one year old,but common in children aged from two to twelve, with the highest infection rate occurring between seven and twelve years old. These phenomenon should be paid attention to in clinical diagnosis and treatment.
