Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of Rongfengshi decoction combined with conventional Western medicine on human gout stones.Methods 302 patients admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 with gout stones were selected,and each type of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome was divided into an observation group and a control group,including phlegm turbidity obstruction syndrome,dampness heat accumulation syndrome,phlegm heat obstruction syndrome and liver kidney yin deficiency syndrome.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine,while the observation group was treated with modified Rongfengshi decoction combined with conventional Western medicine.The traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores,clinical efficacy,erythrocyte sedimentation rates(ESR),uric acid(UA),C-reactive protein(CRP)before and after treatment and adverse reactions of patients with different syndrome types were compared.Results After treatment,the scores of the main and secondary symptoms and total scores,ESR,UA and CRP levels were lower than before treatment(P＜0.05),of which the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rates of the observation group were 97.56％,100.00％,97.22％and 100.00％,higher than the control group's 82.93％,82.50％,81.08％and 81.25％(P＜0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the adverse reactions(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of Rongfengshi decoction and conventional Western medicine in the treatment of human gout stones can alleviate the symptoms of patients with different syndrome types,improve the efficacy,and reduce the levels of ESR,UA and CRP.It is safe.
