Effect of modified Zhike Xiaofan Lotion combined with microwave treatment on postoperative pain,wound recovery and inflammatory stress response in patients with mixed hemorrhoids
Objective To observe the effect of modified Zhike Xiaofan Lotion combined with microwave treatment on postoperative pain,wound recovery and inflammatory stress response in patients with mixed hemorrhoids.Methods 120 patients with mixed hemorrhoids who underwent external dissection and internal ligation in the hospital from January to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into control group 1(40 cases,microwave treatment),control group 2(40 cases,microwave treatment and sitz bath with warm water)and combination group(40 cases,microwave treatment and sitz bath with warm water combined with fumigation and washing with modified Zhike Xiaofan Lotion).Pain degree,edema status,exudation,inflammatory factor levels,and anal function were compared among the three groups.Results On day 3 and day 7 after surgery,combination group had milder pain than control group 1(P＜0.05).The scores for edema and exudate were lower than those of two control groups(P＜0.05).On day 7 after surgery,the scores for edema and exudate of control group 2 were lower than those of control group 1(P＜0.05).On day 3 and day 7 after surgery,the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and procalcitonin(PCT)in combination group were lower than those in two control groups(P＜0.05).Meanwhile,levels in control group 2 were lower than those in control group 1(P＜0.05).On day 7 after surgery,anal resting pressure,systolic pressure and diastolic pressure of combination group were higher than those of two control groups(P＜0.05).The length of anal high-pressure zone was smaller than that of two control groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion Modified Zhike Xiaofan Lotion combined with microwave treatment and sitz bath with warm water can significantly alleviate postoperative pain,edema and exudation in patients with mixed hemorrhoids,improve the levels of inflammatory factors,and promote the recovery of anal function.
