Therapeutic effect of Ganning formula combined with hepatic arterial chemoembolization on liver cancer and its impacts on liver function,oxidative stress,and inflammation in liver cancer patients
Objective To analyze the effects of Ganning formula combined with hepatic artery chemoembolization on liver function,oxidative stress,and inflammation in patients with liver cancer.Methods A total of 100 liver cancer patients admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to February 2023 were collected as the study subjects.They were randomly separated into two groups according to the number table method.The control group(50 cases)received hepatic artery chemoembolization treatment,while the combination group(50 cases)received Ganning formula treatment based on the conventional group.The clinical efficacy,liver function,cytokine levels,quality of life,and degree of fatigue were compared.Results After treatment,the total treatment efficiency of the combination group was 78.00％,which was higher than that of the control group(56.00％)(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of total bilirubin(TBIL),aspartate transaminase(AST)and alanine aminotransferase(ALT)in the combined group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and malondialdehyde(MDA)in the combined group were lower than those in the control group,and the level of superoxide dismutase(SOD)was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the fatigue score of the combined group was lower than that of the control group,and the quality of life score was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Ganning formula combined with hepatic artery chemoembolization can inhibit oxidative stress and inflammatory response in liver cancer patients,improve liver function,and have a obvious therapeutic effect.
