Objective To explore the effects of acupoint catgut embedding combined with Jingulian capsule,electroacupuncture treatment on TCM syndrome,blood β2-microglobulin(β2-MG)level and numerical evaluation scale(NRS)score in patients with gouty arthritis of dampness heat obstruction type in the elderly.Methods From March 2018 to October 2019,120 patients with gouty arthritis of dampness heat obstruction type in the elderly admitted by our hospital were randomly divided into study group(60 cases)and control group(60 cases).The control group was only treated with Jingulian capsule,electroacupuncture treatment,while the study group was treated with acupoint catgut embedding combined with Jingulian capsule,electroacupuncture treatment.The clinical effect of the two groups and the changes of TCM syndrome score,NRS score and blood β2-MG level before and after treatment were observed.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of the study group was 95.00％,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(81.67％)(P＜0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome score,NRS score and blood β2-MG level of the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P＜0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome score,NRS score and blood β2-MG level in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The therapeutic effect of acupoint catgut embedding combined with Jingulian capsule,electroacupuncture treatment on gouty arthritis of dampness heat obstruction type in the elderly is significant.It can quickly improve clinical symptoms,relieve the pain,reduce the renal function damage.
