Research Progress on Intestinal Immunity in Ulcerative Colitis
Ulcerative colitis(UC)is a chronic nonspecific disease of the colon and rectum whose etiology is not well defined.UC is closely related to intestinal immunity.Intestinal-associated lymphoid tissue and lamina propria contain abundant immune cells, which play an important role in maintaining intestinal immune homeostasis. The imbalance of T helper cell(Th)17/T regulatory cell(Treg)was proved to be relative to intestinal immune homeostasis of UC,which was affected by metabolic reprogramming of cells. To provide a reference for UC research, this paper mainly reviewed the studies from three aspects:enteric-associated lymphoid tissue and various immune factors in lamina propria related to UC,metabolic reprogramming of Th17/Treg cells, and traditional Chinese medicine immune regulation treatment of UC.
