Research Progress in Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment of Epigastric Pain
Epigastric pain is one of the most common diseases clinically with various causes,complex pathogenesis,different treatments and often recrudescence,which has a great impact on people's life.Western medicine treats this disease with drugs that inhibit gastric acid secretion,protect gastric mucosa and anti-helicobacter pylori,but long-term use of these drugs can cause dependence and side effects.Through the analysis of the classical prescriptions,self-made prescription and medicine suits,it is found that Chinese medicine treatment of epigastric pain focuses on the balance of the middle energizer balance and mainly starts from soothing the liver,removing stagnation and warming the middle burner.Most clinicians use their own prescriptions for treatment.The basic formula is Chaihu Shugan powder and Huangqi Jianzhong decoction.Through the analysis of the medicine suits in the prescriptions,it is found that Yanhusuo(Rhizoma Corydalis),Chuanlianzi(Szechwan Chinaberry fruit)and Baishao(Radix Paeoniae Alba)are most frequently used,and modern pharmacology confirms that they all have analgesic effects.The treatments,such as acupuncture and moxibustion of traditional Chinese medicine,massage,and other external treatment methods,acupuncture combined with medicine and integrated Chinese and Western medicine,are widely used clinically.This article tends to provide ideas and references for the clinical treatment of epigastric pain with systematically summarizing and analyzing the literature on the treatment of epigastric pain in recent years.
