Textual Research on Stoke Disease Names in Ancient Books of Traditional Chinese Medicine
The first step in the excavation of ancient books on stroke disease should be the sorting and screening of stroke disease names.This paper take textual research on the ancient names of stroke disease,and believes that"Zhongfeng"was originally the abbreviated word for"Attacked by wind".Stroke disease under the name"Zhongfeng"began with Zhang Zhongjing in the Han dynasty,and it was not until the Song dynasty that it gradually became the proper name of stroke disease.The connotation of stroke disease intersects with stroke syndrome and"Jue"syndrome,which were usually defined as"apoplectic stroke"in the Ming and Qing dynasties.The naming methods of stroke disease in ancient books can be summarized into four types:symptoms,causes,degree and attribute.The sorting and screening of stroke disease names in ancient books should adhere to the principle of identifying disease by symptoms.The core scope should be determined by the main symptoms and the extension of stroke disease should be determined by the accompanied symptoms,which can improve the accuracy of ancient books excavation.
