Analysis of Current Situation of TCM Corpus Translation Studies and Related Reflection
This paper retrieves and studies the literature related to traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)corpus translation published in core journals from 2003 to 2023,and combines the relevant literature such as master theses and doctoral dissertations during this period,to generalize and summarize the domestic corpus-based TCM translation research.This study summarizes the development stages of TCM corpus translation studies in China and the main achievements of each stage.It has been found that the existing research is characterized by small scale,mixed corpus sources,poor research coherence and limited resource sharing,and in the future TCM translation researchers can carry out corpus-based studies about translation universality,translator style,translation norm,innovation of TCM translation theory,and technological innovation of data collecting methods.
