Exploring the Quality Assurance Mechanism of Cross-Border Vocational Education in Australia
Quality of education is the lifeline of cross-border vocational colleges and universities,and it is also an important embodiment of enhancing the international competitiveness of vocational education.Influenced by the quality crisis,international competition and national policy orientation,Australia has ad-opted a combination of internal and external approaches to gradually build up a"three-in-one"cross-bor-der vocational education quality assurance mechanism among the government,third-party organizations and vocational colleges and universities.The government and third-party organizations are responsible for guiding and supervising the external system of cross-border vocational education,while vocational colleges and universities are responsible for monitoring their internal systems.The tripartite coordination ensures the quality of cross-border vocational education in Australia.The construction of cross-border vocational education quality assurance mechanisms in China can start with three aspects:giving full play to the govern-ment's supervisory function,highlighting the role of third-party organizations,and strengthening the quali-ty assurance subjectivity of vocational colleges and universities.
