Vocational Education Serves Rural Revitalization:Demand Changes,Current Status Review,and Practical Paths
Analyzing typical cases of vocational education serving rural revitalization,it is found that vocational education helps rural areas prosper with industries,talents,culture,ecology,and organizations through various methods such as"talent empowerment","technology empowerment","brand empower-ment","cultural empowerment",and"incubation empowerment",to solve the problems faced on the road of rural revitalization,such as insufficient modern agricultural talents,weak industrial foundation,low level of agricultural mechanization,and insufficient integration of characteristic folk culture and rural economy.The key for vocational colleges to help rural revitalization is to transform their own advantages in talent cultiva-tion through the integration of industry and education,natural connections with local economy,and good em-ployment and education into strong effectiveness in promoting rural revitalization;to build rural colleges,es-tablish agricultural majors,form research and development teams,and integrate social resources as an im-portant participating force;to develop modern small-scale agricultural machinery,establish rural character-istic brands,tap and activate rural folk culture,incubate innovative entrepreneurial carriers and entities,by delivering production,operation,management,and service talents to rural areas,thus comprehensively im-prove the quality of rural development,achieve a significant improvement in rural revitalization,and effec-tively promote agricultural efficiency,farmer income generation,and rural prosperity.
