Academic Construction of Confidence in the Discipline of Vocational and Technical Education——Comment on the Significance of Discipline Construction in the Fundamentals of Vocational Education
Responding to rich practical innovation and theoretical development through disciplinary construction,and establishing disciplinary confidence is an important task faced by vocational and techni-cal education.Among them,building a batch of high-level disciplinary textbooks is the foundation.At pres-ent,China's vocational and technical education has made significant progress in disciplinary organization and talent cultivation,research fields and academic categories,academic community and disciplinary cul-ture,and interdisciplinary research,but there are still obvious shortcomings.From the perspective of disci-plinary construction,Fundamentals of Vocational Education has formed valuable experience in exploring the concepts and academic discourse system of vocational education in the new era,serving the moderniza-tion of Chinese style vocational education,and exploring the disciplinary system of vocational education with Chinese characteristics.To promote the academic construction of disciplinary confidence,disciplinary textbooks should be adept at transforming Chinese experience into universal theories,achieving the transfor-mation from experiential knowledge to theoretical knowledge,improving the knowledge system of vocational and technical education disciplines,focusing on the spirit of the times in the development of Chinese voca-tional education,reflecting the overall pattern,value orientation,overall rhythm,and latest trends of the times,fully respecting the regularity of academic itself,and enhancing the adaptability of textbooks to talent cultivation,promoting academic communities,and achieving academic construction that lays the foundation for disciplinary confidence through textbook construction.
