Digital Transformation at the University of Applied Sciences in Mannheim:Dynamics,Pathways and Implication
Driven by both internal and external forces,the University of Applied Sciences in Mannheim,Germany,has undergone a comprehensive and systematic transformation of its digitalization through five measures:building advanced infrastructure,establishing digital management institutions,build-ing high-level digital teacher teams,creating digital literacy education models and sharing phased transfor-mation results among universities.In the digital transformation,the university has three experiences:dynam-ic adjustment of the digital education process,systematic planning of digital transformation scope,and full participation in digital transformation.The digital transformation of China's vocational colleges can learn from the following three aspects:in terms of digital infrastructure,accelerate the construction of digital infra-structure,and build a digital transformation exchange platform;In terms of digital teaching,the organization structure should be changed flexibly to build a high-level digital teaching team;In terms of digital ecology,systematically cultivates students'digital literacy and creates an immersive digital environment.
