Analysis on the Construction and Application of Digital Teaching Materials in Vocational Education
The construction and application prospects of digital teaching materials in vocational edu-cation are broad.By analyzing and organizing the definition of digital teaching materials for vocational edu-cation,as well as comparing them with similar educational information products,the concept and connota-tion of digital teaching materials for vocational education are more profoundly clarified.It is pointed out that they should have special publication characteristics,vocational education characteristics,and digitalization characteristics.Furthermore,based on a review of the development and evolution of digital teaching materi-als for vocational education,this paper elaborates on three levels of functions that they should have.On the basis of depicting the complete closed loop of creation,review,release(distribution),and application that the vocational education digital teaching material ecosystem should have,and covering author services,reader services,manager services,internal processes of publishers,and online editing and proofreading ser-vice systems,the key points of establishing a universal and standardized digital teaching material publish-ing platform and developing digital teaching material products of different types and levels are proposed.Subsequently,the differences and significance of integration and innovation between digital teaching materi-als and the new type of loose-leaf teaching materials and work manual teaching materials are analyzed.The basic principles and main strategies for the development of such teaching materials are summarized.Final-ly,standards and standardized development strategies are proposed from four aspects:highlighting the char-acteristics of vocational education,standardizing the development of digital resources,establishing develop-ment process standards,and constructing a quality evaluation system.
