Research on the Construction of High-quality Vocational Education Teachers Team from an International Perspective——Analysis Based on OECD Education Research Report
Vocational education teachers play a crucial role in developing high-quality vocational ed-ucation systems and implementing high-quality vocational education in countries worldwide.Based on re-search reports released by the OECD,the paper thoroughly examines the main issues in the development of vocational education teachers from an international perspective.The main problems include an imbalanced supply and demand structure,low digital literacy and skills,and an imperfect training system.The practical measures taken by relevant countries to build high-quality vocational education teachers are as follows,such as increasing support for professional development,easing the contradiction between supply and de-mand of vocational education teachers;improving digital education resources as well as the digital literacy and skills of vocational teachers;enhancing training coordination mechanisms,sounded the training system for vocational teachers.In terms of China's approach,the focus should be on optimizing the stock,expand-ing the increment,and improving the quality,ensuring a balance between the supply and demand of voca-tional education teachers;establishing infrastructure,setting standards,and implementing evaluation tools to systematically improve digital literacy and skills of vocational teachers;Additionally,pre-employment and post-employment training should be strengthened,and efforts should be made to integrate these train-ing processes,working together to improve the training system of vocational teachers.These comprehensive approaches will contribute to the construction of high-quality vocational education teachers.
