Coordinating Education,Training,and Employment:Internal Logic,Typical Characteristics,and Action Direction of Vocational Education
China's national development strategies,such as transforming to high-quality develop-ment,cultivating new quality productive forces with disruptive technologies,and taking innovation as the new driving force of economic development,are bound to lead to changes in labor demand and employment conditions and coordinate education,training,and employment work to solve the problem of structural em-ployment mismatch.This paper explains the internal logic of integrated education,training,and employ-ment according to the characteristics of derived and joint needs of labor demand.It analyzes three typical characteristics of continuity,comprehensiveness,and high quality from the perspectives of heterogeneous human capital,total factor productivity,and high-quality development,and explores the action direction of vocational education and training in promoting the employment of incremental and stock labor force and en-hancing the employability of the labor force in the whole life cycle.
