Research on Professional Identity and Influencing Factors of Agriculture-related Students in Vocational Colleges under the Background of Rural Revitalization:Based on the Survey of 2893 Students
Based on the background of the era of rural revitalization,2893 students majoring in agri-culture in vocational colleges(including secondary vocational schools,higher vocational colleges,and voca-tional education undergraduates)were targeted nationwide in China to investigate the current situation of their professional identity and explore its influencing factors.The study found that:the professional identity of agriculture-related majors students is relatively low,and the interest in employment is polarized;the pro-fessional identity of agriculture-related students in the eastern region is significantly higher than that in the western region;the future development goals and internship experiences of agriculture-related students af-fect their professional identity;family economic capital,social capital,rural cultural capital,and students'psychological capital are related to the professional identity.Based on the result,it is proposed that the pro-fessional identity of agriculture-related students in vocational colleges and universities should be improved from the aspects of career education,governmental investment in the western region,differentiated cultiva-tion of three-wide education,"double qualified"teacher team building and school-enterprise cooperation internship and practice system.
