Training High-Quality Industrial Farmers from Left-behind Farmers:Value Connotations,Practical Predicaments,and Solution Strategies
Left-behind farmers are a group of individuals who remain in rural areas and are capable of working,mainly including rural women,young and middle-aged people engaged in large-scale produc-tion and management,low-aged elderly individuals,and some middle-aged elderly people.The left-behind farmers have a strong sense of attachment to their homeland,ample farming experience,and a strong expec-tation of getting rich,which makes them a crucial source of high-quality industrial farmers,and the endoge-nous subject of modernization and revitalization of agricultural and rural areas.However,there are some de-ficiencies in the training of high-quality industrial farmers in the aspects of demand analysis,object selec-tion,faculty,field visits,follow-up services,and performance evaluation.Therefore,to train high-quality in-dustrial farmers from left-behind farmers,it is essential to carry out comprehensive demand research and analysis before training,establish a precise selection mechanism for trainees,establish a sound faculty guar-antee mechanism,implement differentiated education and training,carry out personalized follow-up servic-es,and establish a scientific performance evaluation system.
