Research on the School-enterprise Dual Organizational Commitment of Higher Vocational Teachers in the Cross-Border Work Environment:Based on the Potential Profile Analysis
Taking 348 vocational college teachers who participate in enterprise-school cooperation as research subjects,this study utilized the profile analysis method to investigate vocational teachers facing two commitment subjects(school and enterprise)under school-enterprise cross-border work situation based on three types of commitment mentality,dual organizational commitment potential profile of affective commitment,normative commitment,and continuance commitment.Furthermore,the study examined the re-lationships between different types of commitment and predictor variables of value congruence,perceived organizational support,and the outcome variable of enterprise-school work conflict perception.The re-search findings show that:The dual organizational commitment of vocational college teachers participating in school-enterprise cooperation can be divided into five types,namely,school continuance commitment-dominated,school affective commitment/normative commitment-dominated,uncommitted,moderate com-mitment,and fully committed;Value congruence and perceived organizational support differ significantly among the different potential profile types of dual organizational commitment;Vocational college teachers in different commitment profile types have significantly different perceptions of school-enterprise work con-flict.
