Clinical Observation and Analysis of Sublingual Veins Characteristics in Patients with Malignant Tumors
Objective:To study the characteristics of sublingual veins in patients with malignant tumors of different systems. Methods:The images of the sublingual veins of 217 patients with malignant tumors and 162 patients without tumors were collected by the sublingual veins acquisition device. The sublingual veins observa-tion table including the length, width, color, shape and ecchymosis was used to manually interpret,to analyze the differences of the quantitative integration and the grading of sublingual veins characteristics between the tumor group and the non-tumor group, and among the different systems tumor groups. Results:The sublingual pulse score in the tumor group was significantly higher than that in the non-tumor group(P<0.01).The percentage of sublingual veins score≤5 in the tumor group was 24.9%,which was significantly lower than that in the non-tumor group(38.3%),and the percentage of sublingual veins score≥10 in the tumor group was 22.1%,which was significantly higher than that in the non-tumor group(13.0%)(P<0.05).The width, color, shape and ecchymosis of sublingual veins in tumor group were significantly different from those in non-tumor group(P<0.05).87.2%of the sublingual veins of the respiratory system malignant tumors were more than 3/5 of the line connecting the sublingual caruncle and the tip of the tongue. The sublingual veins of the digestive and respiratory system malignant tumors were wider, the colors were mostly cyan, blue purple and purple black. The sublingual veins were more tortuous and rough, and the ecchymosis were significantly more than those of the endo-crine system and gynecological malignant tumors.Conclu-sion:The characteristics of sublingual veins between tumor patients and non-tumor patients, among the malig-nant tumors in different systems are significantly different, which suggests that the observation of sublingual veins has certain reference value for the screening and differentiation of malignant tumor.
