Effects of Qingzha Decoction(清渣汤)on VEGF,TLR 2 and KLK5 Expressions in Lesioned Skin of Rosacea Model Mice
Objective:To observe the effects of oral administration of Qingzha Decoction on the expression levels of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),Toll-like receptor 2(TLR2)and kallikrein 5(KLK5)in rosacea model mice.Methods:A total of 367-week-old healthy male mice were divided into 6 groups by random number table method:Qingzha Decoction high dose group,medium dose group,low dose group,positive control group(Doxycycline tablets),model control group,and normal control group,with 6 mice in each group.Except for the normal group,each group was molded according to the model preparation method.After 24 hours of modeling,the model group was given 0.2 mL normal saline by gavage,the 3-dose group was given 25 mg/kg(low-dose group),50 mg/kg(medium-dose group)and 100 mg/kg(high-dose group)of Qingzha Decoc-tion,and the positive control group was given 30 mg/kg Doxycycline hydrochloride solution by gavage once a day for a total of 4 weeks.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the protein expression levels of VEGF,TLR2 and KLK5 in lesioned skin of each mice.Results:The protein expressions of VEGF,TLR2 and KLK5 in le-sioned skin of rosacea model mice were significantly enhanced compared with those in the normal group(P<0.01),and the protein expressions of VEGF,TLR2 and KLK5 in the positive control group,high dose group,medium dose group and low dose group were decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion:Qingzha Decoction can inhibit the expression levels of VEGF,TLR2 and KLK5 proteins in lesioned skin of rosacea model mice to reducing in-flammation.
