Correlation between RDW,BNP and Uric Acid and TCM Syndromes in Chronic Heart Failure
Objective:To analyze the correlation of red blood cell distribution width(RDW),type B natri-uretic peptide(BNP)and uric acid(UA)and Differentiation of syndromes in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods:106 CHF patients hospitalized from January 2021 to January 2023 were included in the CHF group, and 60 patients with healthy examination in the same period were included in the control group. All pa-tients'RDW,BNP and UA levels were tested after enrollment.RDW,BNP and UA levels of control and CHF groups were compared, and the correlation between RDW,BNP and UA and differentiation of syndromes in CHF were analyzed. Results:The RDW,BNP and UA levels were significantly higher in the CHF group than those in the control group(P=0.000).According the dialectical classification of CHF,16 cases with qi deficiency of lung and heart,31 cases with qi and yin deficiency,22 cases with yang deficiency of heart and kidney,19 cases with qi deficiency and blood stasis, and 18 cases with yang deficiency and water diffusion syndrome. The RDW,BNP and UA levels of CHF patients were significantly higher than those of the control group(P=0.000).The RDW,BNP and UA levels of each syndrome ranged from low to high as:heart and lung qi deficiency syndrome<qi and yin deficiency syndrome<qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome<yang deficiency of heart and kidney syndrome<yang deficiency and water diffusion syndrome. Conclusion:There is some degree of correlation be-tween blood RDW,BNP and UA levels and CHF TCM syndromes, which can be used as an objective reference index for TCM differentiation of syndromes.
