Analysis of A Case of Anaphylactic Shock Caused by Esomeprazole Magnesium Enteric-Coated Capsules
Objective:This study aims to investigate the occurrence of allergic shock in patients using esomeprazole magnesium enteric-coated capsules,in order to improve the safety and effectiveness of its clinical use,and be alert to rare adverse reactions.Methods:Case data of a patient with allergic shock caused by esomeprazole magnesium enteric-coated capsules was collected,and the correlation between adverse reactions and esomeprazole magnesium enteric-coated capsules was analyzed to determine the reasons for the occurrence of allergic shock.Results:According to the patient's clinical manifestations and the correlation of results,the possibility of adverse reaction in esomeprazole magnesium enteric-coated capsules was considered.After the patient was treated,the symptoms of allergic shock improved.It is speculated that the cause of adverse reaction is related to individual physical differences among patients.Conclusion:Clinicians and pharmacists should thoroughly inquire about allergic history,select proton pump inhibitors(PPIs)reasonably,strengthen pharmaceutical monitoring,keep vigilant to the occurrence of adverse reaction,especially in patients with allergies and poor physical condition.
