Analysis of Influencing Factors on the Severity of Adverse Drug Reactions in a Certain Psychiatric Hospital
Objective:To analyze the patterns, characteristics, and influencing factors of 160 cases of adverse drug reaction(ADR)in a certain psychiatric hospital, explore the factors that affect the severity of ADRs,and provide a basis for rational drug use in clinical practice. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 160 ADR reports from the hospital in 2020.Collect general information of patients and divide them into general ADR group and severe ADR group based on the severity of ADR.High-risk factors related to the severity of ADR in psychiatric patients were screened through univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results:Univariate analysis found that gender, age, drug type, route of administration, rapporteur, causal relationship, and involvement of systems/organs were correlated with the severity of ADR.The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed a significant correlation(P<0.05)between female,age≥50 years old, possibly related, combination therapy with more than 3 drugs, oral administration, physician report, involvement of cardiovascular system diseases, and skin diseases with the severity of ADR.Conclusion:Real time ADR monitoring should be carried out in clinical diagnosis and treatment to control medication risks, reduce the incidence of severe ADR,and ensure patient medication safety.
