Clinical Study on the Therapeutic Effects of Wenrunxinjin Decoction in the Treatment of Cough Variant Asthma with Mild Cold Lingering Lung
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Wenrunxinjin decoction on cough variant asthma(CVA)with mild cold lingering lung.Method:A total of 60 patients with mild cold and lung-loving CVA treated in a hospital from June 2017 to December 2019 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with salmeterol xinafoate and fluticasone propionate powder for inhalation, the treatment group was treated with Wenrunxinjin decoction. Both groups were treated for 6 weeks. The study observed the therapeutic effects of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes and adverse reactions in the two groups, and compared the changes in fractional exhaled nitric oxide(FeNO)and cough symptom scores before and after treatment.Results:2 cases of detachment in the control group and 4 cases in the treatment group, respectively. The total effective rate was not statistically significant between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the cough symptom score and FeNO were significantly reduced(P<0.05).The score of cough symptom in observation group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05);However,the difference in FeNO was not statistically significant(P>0.05).There were 2 patients in the observation group who had stomach discomfort such as nausea during medication, and the symptoms disappeared after they were instructed to take medicine after meals. In the control group,2 patients had mild adverse reactions, which did not affect subsequent treatment. Conclusion:The Wenrunxinjin decoction significantly improves clinical symptoms, cough symptom score in the treatment of CVA with mild cold lingering lung.It has better clinical efficacy and good safety.
