Clinical Efficacy of Bailing Capsules Combined with Shenshuaining Tablets in the Treatment of Patients with Chronic Renal Failure and its Effect on Renal Fibrosis and Microinflammatory State
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Bailing capsules combined with Shenshuaining tablets in the treatment of patients with chronic renal failure and its effect on renal fibrosis and microinflammatory state.Methods:A total of 172 patients with chronic renal failure treated in a hospital from April 2020 to February 2023 were selected and assigned to the control group and observation group by random number table method,with 86 patients in each group.The control group was treated with Shenshuaining tablets,the observation group was treated with Bailing capsules in addition to the treatment given in the control group,and both groups were treated for 2 months.The indexes of renal fibrosis[connective tissue growth factor(CTGF),transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),type Ⅳ collagen(Col-Ⅳ)],renal function indicators(urea nitrogen,blood creatinine),inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP)],clinical response,quality of life and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the levels of serum CTGF,TGF-β1,Col-Ⅳ,urea nitrogen and blood creatinine were decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and were lower in the observation group than those in the control group(P<0.05).The serum levels of CRP,IL-6 and TNF-α were decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and were lower in the observation group than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total response rate in the observation group(94.19%)was higher than that in the control group(79.07%,P<0.05).The score of quality of life was increased in both groups(P<0.05),and was higher in the observation group than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group(5.81%)was lower than that in the control group(16.28%,P<0.05).Conclusion:Bailing capsules combined with Shenshuaining tablets in the treatment of patients with chronic renal failure exhibited good clinical efficacy as it could effectively inhibit the renal fibrosis,alleviate the microinflammatory state,and improve the quality of life,without additional risks of adverse reactions.
