Efficacy of Rupixiao Tablets for Breast Benign Nodules and its Effect on Breast High-Frequency Ultrasonography Indexes
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Rupixiao tablets in the treatment of breast benign nodules and its effect on breast high-frequency ultrasonography indexes.Methods:A total of 60 patients with breast benign nodules diagnosed in a hospital from September to December 2023 were selected and divided into the control group and observation group by random number table method,with 30 patients in each group.The control group was treated with Prunella vulgaris oral liquid,and the observation group was treated with Rupixiao tablets,and both groups were treated continuously for 2 months.The improvement time of clinical symptoms,levels of sex hormones(estradiol,prolactin and progesterone),breast high-frequency ultrasonography indexes(the diameter of hypoechoic area of breast,the diameter of cyst,the inner diameter of ovarian duct,the thickness of mammary glandular layer),clinical response and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the regression times of breast masses and breast tenderness in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of estradiol and prolactin were decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and were lower in the observation group than those in the control group(P<0.05).The progesterone level was increased in both groups(P<0.05),and was higher in the observation group than that in the control group(P<0.05).The diameter of hypoechoic area of breast,the diameter of cyst,the inner diameter of ovarian duct,and the thickness of mammary glandular layer were decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and were lower in the observation group than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total response rate in the observation group(96.67%)was higher than that in the control group(73.33%,P<0.05).No statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions was observed between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Rupixiao tablets exhibited good clinical efficacy in the treatment of patients with breast benign nodules as it could rapidly eliminate such clinical symptoms as breast lump and pain,improve sex hormone levels and breast high-frequency ultrasonography indexes,and promote the disappearance of breast hyperplasia nodules.
