Effect of Budesonide Combined with Microwave Coagulation in the Treatment of Chronic Pharyngitis
Objective:To investigate the effect of budesonide combined with microwave coagulation in the treatment of chronic pharyngitis. Methods:A total of 80 patients with bronchial pharyngitis treated in a hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected and assigned to the control group and observation group by random number table, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with budesonide inhalation aerosol, and the observation group with budesonide inhalation aerosol combined with microwave coagulation. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks. The inflammatory factors, total symptom score, clinical effect and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the level of interleukin-2(IL-2)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, but the level of interleukin-1β(IL-1β)in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total symptom score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).No statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions was observed between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Budesonide combined with microwave coagulation is effective for chronic pharyngitis with effectively alleviated inflammatory response and relieved symptoms but no additional risks of adverse reactions, thus the treatment is worthy of clinical reference.
