Investigation on Clinical Medications of Inpatients with Bipolar Disorder Treated in a Hospital of Beijing in 2023
Objective:To understand the medication prescription strategy of patients with bipolar disorder admitted in a hospital in Beijing.Methods:A retrospective study of medication prescriptions for inpatients with bipolar disorder treated in a Beijing hospital in 2023 was conducted using the hospital electronic medical record system.Results:A total of 952 cases were included.The drugs used included mood stabilizers,antipsychotics,anxiolytics and antidepressants,among which mood stabilizers are used the most frequently.The four types of drugs with the highest frequency of use are sodium valproate,olanzapine,lorazepam,and escitalopram.In the aspect of drug therapy,the combination of drugs is the main method.Conclusions:Hospitalized patients with bipolar disorder treated in this hospital are usually treated with mood stabilizers,and most physicians prefer a combination of multiple drugs.
