Exploration on the Relationship between Vascular Endothelial Cells and Intestinal Microbiota Based on the"Exterior-interior Relationship between the Lung and Large Intestine"
The imbalance of gut microbiota and its metabolites has a significant impact on endothelial cell damage and dysfunction. There was a correlation between the structure, physiology, and pathology of TCM"lung"and vascular endothelial cells. The theory of"exterior-interior relationship between the lung and large intestine"in TCM is highly summarized correlation between lung and intestine in terms of structure, physiology, and pathology, which can serve as the theoretical basis for the correlation between vascular endothelial cells and intestinal microbiota. This can provide theoretical basis for experimental research on protecting vascular endothelial cell damage and intervening in cardiovascular diseases from the perspective of gut microbiota,as well as reference for clinical treatment of related diseases with TCM.
