Exploration on Wu Mianhua's Experience in the Treatment of Colorectal Cancer
Professor Wu Mianhua exerted the theory of"cancer and toxicity"of the national TCM master Zhou Zhongying and believed that the cause of colorectal cancer is cancer and toxicity.Combined with the colorectal characteristics of the colorectal organs which are"solid but not full",the spleen and stomach qi deficiency and the growth of cancer and toxicity in colorectal cancer run through the pathology.Therefore,colorectal cancer is associated with pathological factors such as"qi stagnation,dampness,heat,stasis and toxicity",which eventually lead to the failure of colorectal bowel circulation and lowering,and the combination of"dampness,heat,stasis and toxicity",forming a tumor.In terms of treatment,Prof.Wu advocates dynamic treatment,with the early stage focusing on strengthening the spleen and stomach,eliminating stagnation,and the middle and late stage emphasizing warming the spleen and stomach,resolving dampness and stomach,eliminating cancer and toxicity,resolving stasis and attacking stagnation,and relieving depression and tranquilizing the mind at all times.In his clinical practice,Prof.Wu emphasizes stripping away the complex disease mechanism,distinguishing the priorities,following the rules of the section and emphasizing the combination of medicines.This article summarized Prof.Wu's experience in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer,and provided a new approach for the treatment of colorectal cancer with one case study.
