Visualization Analysis on TCM for the Prevention and Treatment of Alzheimer Disease in 1990-2022
Objective To analyse the research trends and hotspots of TCM for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer disease from a bibliometric perspective.Methods CNKI was used as the data source to retrieve the literature related to TCM for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer disease from the establishment of the database to Dec.31,2022.CiteSpace 6.1.R3 and VOSviewer 1.6.18 were applied to visualize and analyze the volume of articles,issuing institutions,authors,keywords,etc.Results 1 672 articles were included.The number of articles issued showed a fluctuating upward trend.The Journal of Chinese Traditional Medicine was the journal with the highest publication volume.The contribution of the Sun Guojie-Du Yanjun team was remarkable,and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine was the core institution of TCM for the prevention and treatment for Alzheimer disease.The hotspots with high attention in the past 5 years were network pharmacology,mechanism of action,donepezil hydrochloride,cognition,and intestinal flora.Conclusion At this stage,inter-institutional cooperation networks have been formed initially,and cross-regional cooperation needs to be strengthened.Research is mainly focused on mechanism research and network pharmacology research,with few clinical researches.Further exploration of the mechanism of action and clinical efficacy observation may become the future development trend.
