Visualization Analysis on Research Literature about Acupuncture and Moxibustion for the Treatment of Cervical Vertigo From 2002 to 2022
Objective To analyze the research literature about acupuncture and moxibustion for the treatment of cervical vertigo(CV)in the past 21 years;To explore the research status,trend,and hotspots in the field of acupuncture and moxibustion for the treatment of CV in China.Methods The relevant literature about acupuncture and moxibustion for treating CV in CNKI was retrieved from 1st Jan.2002 to 1st Nov.2022.Excel 2019 was used to analyze the volume of publications,authors,institutions,and keywords.CiteSpace 6.1.R6 and VOSviewer 1.6.18 were used to conduct co-occurrence,clustering,and emergent analysis of authors,institutions,and keywords,and a visual knowledge map was drawn.Results A total of 1 116 articles were included,and involving 2 301 authors and 280 core authors,forming research groups represented by Yu Jingang,Li Qi,and Xie Wenxia,lacking collaboration between teams.Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its First Affiliated Hospital,Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and Hubei University of Chinese Medicine were research institutions with high publication volume,and the cooperation between institutions was relatively loose.Keyword analysis showed that"cervical vertigo","acupuncture","acupuncture and moxibustion","cervical spondylosis",and"needle knife"were high-frequency keywords.A total of 14 cluster labels were generated.Emergent keywords included"hemodynamics","clinical efficacy",and"qi and blood deficiency type".Conclusion Collaboration between authors and research institutions in this field needs to be strengthened;the main research directions of clinical research on the treatment of CV through acupuncture and moxibustion are acupoint selection,syndrome differentiation and treatment,treatment methods,clinical efficacy,and co-morbidity.Acupuncture and moxibustion for the treatment of CV with elderly qi and blood deficiency type may be the research hotspot in the next stage.
