Visualization Analysis on Research Literature about Xiang Thinking in TCM Based on CiteSpace
Objective To explore the research and application status of Xiang thinking in the field of TCM with the help of CiteSpace.Methods The research literature about TCM Xiang thinking was retrieved from CNKI from the establishment of the database to August 18,2023.The authors,institutions and keywords were visualized and analyzed by CiteSpace 5.6.R4 software.Results A total of 566 articles were included.The authors with high publication volume in this field were Xing Yurui,Wang Yongyan,Bai Xue,and Wang Xiaoqiang;the core research institutions were Beijing University of Chinese Medicine,Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine,Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and Institute of Basic Research in Clinical Medicine of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences;keyword analysis showed that the keywords of"thinking methods such as image analogy","logical thinking","imagery thinking"and"concrete thinking",and keywords of principles,methods,prescriptions and drugs such as"Huang Di Nei Jing","TCM basic theories","theory of the manifestations of organs","Chinese materia medica","syndrome differentiation and treatment"showed higher frequency.Keywords were clustered into 10 categories,and 15 emergent keywords could be obtained through emergent detection.Conclusion Under the guidance of concrete thinking,Xiang thinking has been widely used in the TCM field with the main methods of image analogy,imagery thinking and image thinking.The research hotspots of TCM Xiang thinking mainly focus on the TCM basic theories,TCM classics,Chinese materia medica,syndrome differentiation and treatment.The combination and application with clinical thinking and Xiang thinking is the future research trend of Xiang thinking of TCM.
