Discussion on Dong Ziliang's Experience in Treating Eosinophilic Pneumonia from the Qi Theory
Eosinophilic pneumonia belongs to"wheezing","cough"or"panting"in TCM.Dong Ziliang believes that this disease is characterized by deficiency of lung qi,as well as external factors such as six excesses and adverse environmental conditions or seven emotional internal injuries, resulting in an imbalance of qi in the body and difficulty in promoting and descending lung qi,leading to the onset of the disease.Treatment should start with"qi",strengthen the lung, nourish the lung and replenish qi,regulate the qi movement, treat with the methods of strengthening the spleen and replenishing qi,tonifying the kidney and absorbing qi,and regulating the abnormal operation of lung qi caused by the six excesses and seven emotions.
