Analysis on the Teaching Effects of Integrating Ideological and Political Education into the Internship Teaching of Emergency Medicine in TCM Universities
Objective To explore the teaching effect of integrating ideological and political education into emergency medicine internship teaching in TCM universities.Methods Taking 116 emergency medicine interns of The Third People's Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2021 to April 2023 as the study object,the interns'mental health status by using the Symptom Self-assessment Scale(SCL)-90 scale was investigated,the elements of ideological and political education were modeled,and the influencing factors were analyzed.Results A total of 116 valid questionnaires were recovered,and the difference between SCL-90 scores and normative scores was statistically significant(P<0.05).One-way Logistic regression modeling analysis showed that TCM cultural confidence,mission and responsibility,family and national sentiments,dedication,socialist core values,medical ethics,love of duty and respect for work,and cultivation of TCM clinical thinking skills had a significant effect on the survey results(P<0.05);the neural network model analysis showed that the importance of the element of love and respect for one's work ranked first.Conclusion Actively exploring the elements of ideological and political education and organically integrating ideological and political education with the teaching of emergency medicine internship can promote the reform of the teaching of emergency medicine internship and improve the mental health of interns,which is an important measure to realize the"three-whole-education".
