Visualization Analysis on Research Literature about TCM Treatment for Stress Urinary Incontinence
Objective To investigate the research status and development trend of TCM treatment for stress urinary incontinence(SUI).Methods The research literature about TCM treatment for SUI was retrieved from CNKI,Wanfang Data,SinoMed and VIP from the establishment of the databases to April 20,2023.The acquired documents were brought into NoteExpress 3.6.0.9220 for screening and eliminating duplicates.The core authors were identified according to Price's law,and VOSviewer 1.6.18 was used to draw a collaborative view of the core authors and keywords.Then CiteSpace 6.1.R6 was employed to draw a co-occurrence map of institutions,and keyword clustering and emergence analysis was performed.Results A total of 704 articles were included in the study.Since 1985,there has been an overall upward trend in the number of research literature about TCM treatment for SUI.Wang Siyou was the author with the highest number of publications(12 articles),forming core author research teams represented by Wang Siyou,An Junming,Liu Zhishun,Chen Yuelai,Xing Yanli,and others,with a lot of cooperation within the team and a lack of cooperation between teams.The keyword analysis indicated that the research hotspots of TCM treatment for SUI mainly focused on the following sections:combination of syndrome differentiation and treatment and TCM clinical research,discussing the entry point of its pathogenesis and effective treatment;analysis on clinical efficacy and mechanism of acupuncture-moxibustion intervention methods such as acupuncture,electro-acupuncture,moxibustion,and warm-needle moxibustion,and the research was gradually becoming more precise;application of combined treatment modes such as integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,combined acupuncture and medication;the application of the theory of preventive treatment of diseases in SUI.Conclusion The research of TCM treatment for SUI mainly focuses on the short-term efficacy.There is relatively little research on long-term efficacy and mechanism,and further research on long-term efficacy and mechanism in this field is needed.At the same time,attention should be paid to the application of the concept of preventive treatment of diseases,and the treatment concepts of adjusting the body to prevent diseases,changes,and relapse should be applied to the prevention and treatment of SUI,playing an important role.
