Meta-analysis on the Efficacy and Safety of Modified Guipi Decoction Combined with Acupoint Stimulation in the Treatment of Insomnia with Heart-spleen Deficiency Syndrome
Objective To systematically evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety of modified Guipi Decoction combined with acupoint stimulation for the treatment of insomnia with heart-spleen deficiency syndrome. Methods Literature related to clinical randomized controlled trials(RCTs)about modified Guipi Decoction combined with acupoint stimulation for the treatment of insomnia with heart-spleen deficiency syndrome was retrieved from CNKI,VIP,Wanfang Data,CBM,Cochrane Library,PubMed and Embase from the establishment of the databases to June 12,2023.Cochrane 5.4 biasrisk assessment tool was used for literature quality evaluation.Meta-analysis was perfprmed using RevMan 5.4 software. Results A total of 9 RCTs involving 685 patients were included of which 344 were in the trial group and 341 in the control group.Meta-analysis results showed that compared with the control group, the total effective rate of insomnia treatment with the combination of modified Guipi Decoction and acupoint stimulation increased[RR=1.23,95%CI(1.15,1.31),P<0.000 01],PSQI score decreased[RR=3.88,95%CI(1.89,5.87),P<0.000 1],and adverse reactions decreased[RR=3.03,95%CI(1.80,5.12),P<0.000 1],with statistical significance. Conclusion Modified Guipi Decoction combined with acupoint stimulation for the treatment of insomnia with heart-spleen deficiency syndrome is better than that of the control group, with higher safety, which can decreased the occurrence of adverse reactions, but more high-quality RCTs are needed for validation.
