Visualization Analysis on Literature about Ulcerative Colitis-related Signaling Pathways from 2013 to 2023
Objective To explored the current research status and trend of ulcerative colitis-related(UC)signalling pathways from 2013 to 2023.Methods Literature about UC signalling pathways was retrieved from CNKI,Wanfang Data and VIP from January 1,2013 to June 30,2023.Excel 2021 software was used to count the annual number of publications.Citespace 6.2.R4 software was used to analyze authors, research institutions, keywords, and a knowledge graph was drawn. Results A total of 657 articles were included, and the annual publication volume continued to improve. The authors with higher publication volume were Yan Shuguang and Hui Yi,and the research institutions with higher publication volume were Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine and Hunan University of Chinese Medicine.High-frequency keywords were"mechanism","molecular docking","animal experiments","metabolomics",etc.,and the keywords were clustered into 7 categories. The keywords of"molecular docking","mechanism"and"apoptosis"have become the keywords in the past 10 years. Conclusion The field has no formed core group of authors yet,and there is still little inter-institutional co-operation.In the past 10 years, the research on signaling pathways relevant to UC has been continuing, and the regulatory mechanisms of UC inflammatory response, oxidative stress, and apoptosis have attracted a high degree of attention.Mechanisms are still the focus of research in this field, which is oriented towards the molecular level and needs to be further verified by more high-quality laboratory and clinical studies.
