Luo Changyi's Clinical Experience in Treating Hypomenorrhea of Liver Depression and Kidney Deficiency
Hypomenorrhea is a common gynecological disease in clinic.TCM believes that the pathogenesis of hypomenorrhea is characterized by both deficiency and excess,with kidney deficiency being the main syndrome type,which related to qi deficiency,blood deficiency,blood stasis,liver depression,and phlegm dampness.Among them,liver depression and kidney deficiency are increasingly common in clinical practice.Luo Changyi believes that women rely on water as their nourishment,kidneys as their roots,and blood as their foundation.The main pathogenesis of hypomenorrhea is both deficiency and excess.Deficiency is caused by insufficient kidney essence,qi deficiency,and blood deficiency,but in reality,it is caused by liver depression and blood stasis.Ultimately,it can lead to excess due to deficiency,or a combination of deficiency and excess.Therefore,the"tonifying method"is used to treat hypomenorrhea.This article summarized the thinking of syndrome differentiation and medication experience of Luo Changyi in treating menstrual disorders of liver depression and kidney deficiency.One medical case was attached in this article for sharing with fellows.
