Study on the Development Trend of TCM Formulas Based on Patent Analysis
Objective To analyze the patent information of TCM formulas with the characteristics of China's original scientific and technological resources;To reveal the technological innovation capabilities and breakthrough directions of TCM formulas.Methods The patent literature of TCM formulas were retrieved from the public retrieval system of the China National Intellectual Property Administration and the incoPat global patent database platform.The overall scientific and technological innovation development pattern of TCM formula technology was analyzed from multiple dimensions such as patent application trends,technological composition,thematic clustering,and efficacy value.Results China is the main applicant country for TCM formula patents,with the main application direction being the combination of specific disease prescriptions,and the main technical composition being the specific therapeutic activity of medical formulations and drugs.Conclusion There are problems in the transfer and transformation of achievements,the embodiment of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment ideas,and the interdisciplinary integration of existing patents.The innovation and development of TCM formulas can be achieved through international development,precise application,and activation of intelligence value.
