Objective To collect TCM ancient books and modern literature of Dajianzhong Decoction;To conduct textual research and analyze the clinical application of Dajianzhong Decoction.Methods The 5th edition of the Chinese Medical Dictionary,Guo Yi Dian Cang and the"Du Xiu"database were used for searching ancient books for literature about Dajianzhong Decoction;CNKI,VIP,Wanfang Data,PubMed database were used to search modern literature about Dajianzhong Decoction.Statistical analysis of its historical origins,formulation principles,dosage processing,efficacy and indications,methods of preparation and administration was performed,and the application experience of medical practitioners throughout history and modern clinical applications was sorted out.Results Dajianzhong Decoction played an important role in the treatment of spleen and stomach diseases such as abdominal pain and vomiting by ancient doctors.Modern clinical studies have shown that this formula has therapeutic effects on acute abdomen,intestinal obstruction,gastric ulcer and other diseases.Conclusion This study provides a systematic reference for the rational application of Dajianzhong Decoction,which will help expand the clinical application of this formula.
