Visualization Analysis on Research Literature about TCM Treatment for Chronic Urticaria from 2002 to 2022
Objective To explore the research hotspots and frontier trends in TCM treatment for chronic urticaria(CU).Methods Research literature about TCM treatment for CU was retrieved from CNKI,Wanfang Data,and VIP from January 1,2002,to December 31,2022.Duplicates were removed and literature was managed using NoteExpress 3.8.0 software.Excel 2016 software was used for analyzing publication years of included literature.Author and keyword co-occurrence analysis was conducted using VOSviewer 1.6.18 software,while institution co-occurrence,keyword clustering,timeline,and burst analysis were performed using CiteSpace 6.1.R6 software.Results A total of 2 500 articles were included,showing an overall increasing trend in publications.Journals with the highest number of publications included China's Naturopathy and Sichuan Zhongyi.The literature involved 662 authors,forming research teams represented by authors such as Guo Jing,Wang Yanjun,and Liu Aimin.The institution with the most publications was Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and institution collaborations mainly involved partnerships between TCM universities and affiliated hospitals.Keyword co-occurrence analysis indicated that the research hotspots in TCM treatment of CU mainly focused on treatment methods,research directions,and experience inheritance.Conclusion Research on TCM treatment for CU is increasing annually,enhancing the quality of disciplinary research,promoting collaboration within the field,flexibly applying various TCM treatment methods and studying related mechanisms of action,and combining advanced information technology to inherit the experience of renowned TCM practitioners may be future directions for development in this field.
