Professor Luo Sheng argues that there is a comprehensive axis between the liver and the lung based on qi,blood and meridian circulation,that is,the liver-lung qi and blood circulation axis and proposes that the liver failing to maintain dispersing and discharging and the activities of qi disordering of ascending and descending are the key pathogenesis of pulmonary nodules.The function of the liver in controlling the qi movement is disordered,then lung qi is damaged,with its consequent the balance of liver and lung qi ascending and descending is disordered and the qi,blood,and body fluid are blocked in the lung,resulting in pathological factors such as qi depression,phlegm coagulation and blood stasis,and finally the formation of pulmonary nodules.Based on the liver-lung qi-blood circulation axis,the methods of dispersing stagnated liver qi and regulating the lung qi,removing blood stasis and phlegm and reinforcing the healthy qi to restore the normal function are advocated,with one medical case attached,which could provide ideas and references for the treatment of pulmonary nodules.
