Clinical Application of Acupuncture for the Treatment and Prevention of Perimenopausal Osteoporosis Based on the Theory of"Three Yin Deficiency of Foot"
During a period of time before and after menopause,as hormone levels decrease,bone mass also decreases,leading to increased risk of osteoporosis in women.If not intervened in a timely manner,it will increase the risk of fractures.Three yin deficiency in foot refers to the deficiency of the liver,spleen,and kidney,resulting in insufficient qi and blood biochemistry to nourish the five organs,ultimately leading to yin deficiency and deficiency of yang and original qi,causing various diseases.Perimenopausal women experience a decline in qi and blood,as well as meridian qi,in the liver,spleen,and kidneys,resulting in kidney essence deficiency,spleen and stomach weakness,and insufficient liver blood,leading to osteoporosis.Acupuncture treatment for perimenopausal osteoporosis is based on the principles of tonifying kidney yang,strengthening tendons and bones,strengthening spleen and stomach,regulating liver and nourishing blood.One medical case study was attached as evidence,providing ideas for clinical treatment of this disease.
