Xiaoqinglong Decoction is a classic famous formula in Shang Han Lun,and widely used by later generations.However,later generations of doctors have different views on the post-prescription modifications.Based on the views of doctors of all ages and clinical practice,this article analyzed the modified methods of"removing Ephedrae Herba if urination is unfavorable"in the Xiaoqinglong Decoction of Shang Han Lun,and differentiated them in combination with relevant passages of Shang Han Lun and clinical evidence.It is believed that when there is no diuresis in the syndrome of superficial cold and internal drinking,Ephedrae Herba can be used when the disease is severe and the body is strong.However,if the internal drinking is heavy or the vital energy is insufficient,it is not advisable to use Ephedrae Herba for dispersion.
