Primary dysmenorrhea is a common gynecological disease,and Western medicine treatment mainly focuses on relieving pain,but the efficacy is short-lived and there are adverse reactions and drug resistance.Professor Cao Danong believes that the pathogenesis of primary dysmenorrhea is due to kidney-yang deficiency,internal cold deficiency,cold and dampness stagnation,and internal blood stasis.Therefore,starting from"simultaneous treatment of blood and fluid",warming and unblocking meridians,activating blood and flowing water should be the treatment methods,and nourishing yin and protecting the stomach should be taken into consideration,with obvious clinical efficacy.The treatment experience of Professor Cao Danong was summarized and shared in this article,and one medical case was attached.
